VergelijkTaxi.nl is the comparison service where customer and driver find each other directly. Fair prices, no meter, no surprises.
Why we exist
Large taxi apps charge up to 30% commission on every ride. Those costs get passed on to you as a customer, or weigh heavily on the driver doing the work. It can be done differently — and better for both.
From the driver we ask a low 10% commission to keep the platform running: hosting, development and marketing so more customers find their way to the comparison. A fraction of what large platforms charge.
On our platform the driver sets their own price, and the customer agrees to that exact amount upfront — no meter, no surprises afterwards. Because the driver chooses their own rate, they drive willingly for that price. That's a big difference from large platforms, which year after year lower their ride prices and raise their commission: many drivers there are frustrated, cancel rides or put less care into the customer. On our platform the driver deliberately signs up for their own rate — you feel that in the service.
