What if no driver accepts my ride?
You can send your offer to all connected drivers with your own price from the status page. More drivers = higher chance of a match. Often a few euros extra is enough for quick acceptance.
Do I pay upfront through the website?
No. You confirm the booking on VergelijkTaxi.nl, but payment runs entirely through the driver — cash, debit or credit card, whatever they support. No platform margin, no upfront deposit.
How do I know the price is correct?
The price on VergelijkTaxi.nl is the price the driver receives. We don't add anything afterwards — no call fee, no traffic surcharge, no waiting costs. What you see upfront is what you pay.
Can I make a reservation far in the future?
Yes. For reservations you search in the city where your pickup starts. Drivers who have that city in their work area and are available at your time appear in your list. You get a reminder about an hour before departure.
What if I need to cancel?
As long as the driver hasn't started the ride you can cancel for free via the status link. If the driver is already on the way to your pickup location, contact the driver directly.
